Don Childs

Don joined friends Jim McGregor and Don Harper at McGregor Benefits in 2002. For the last 14 years he has been assisting individuals and companies find health insurance plans that not only meet their needs, but also work within their budget. He thinks of himself as a professional shopper, first meeting with customers to determine their needs, then shopping together to determine what best fits their particular needs. And in most cases he doesn’t charge a dime, not a bad deal!

His career path spans from working for large corporations, to owning a restaurant, and then assisting in what started as a small landscaping business, Simply Yards, that grew to one of the largest of its kind in a four-county area and is still in operation today. In Don’s spare time, he enjoys sailing, camping and fly fishing.

McGregor Benefits has maintained an excellent reputation and has continued to grow, adding additional agents in Skagit, Island and Snohomish counties, and an office in Burlington.
